TubeGen starts at $149/mo with no refunds. DreamTuber starts at $20/mo and renders up to 10 hours.
TubeGen AI is an all-in-one faceless YouTube kit: niche research, scripts, AI visuals and Storyblocks footage, narration in eight languages, a thumbnail studio and a video course. Its full plans start at $149 a month, it doesn't offer refunds, and its editor exports videos up to 30 minutes. If you mainly need the videos themselves — longer, in more languages, at a lower monthly cost — DreamTuber is built for that.
TubeGen bundles a lot around the video: a niche finder with a channel database, a thumbnail studio with A/B testing, AI avatars and a course for new channel owners. If you want research, thumbnails and training in one subscription, it covers more ground than a video generator.
Test a channel on the Starter plan before committing to a bigger one.
One render up to 10 hours, with the same narrator throughout.
Finished videos go straight to your channel with metadata written.
TubeGen's pricing page lists Starter at $149/mo (33,000 credits, a median of about 60 video minutes), Pro at $297/mo (about 148 minutes) and Premium at $849/mo (about 438 minutes), with a 20% discount for six months up front. A Build Your Own Plan option starts at $27/mo for individual suites such as thumbnails or writing. Its FAQ is direct about refunds: it doesn't offer them, and suggests testing with a credit purchase first.
Plan limits shape the videos too. Scripts are capped at 3,000 words on Starter (roughly 20 minutes of narration), 10,000 on Pro and 20,000 on Premium; animation is limited to 1 minute per video on Starter; voice cloning starts on Pro; and the editor exports videos up to 30 minutes. For a creator who wants hour-plus videos on a small budget, those limits stack up.
Competitor details are from their own sites as of 23 October 2026 and may have changed — check their pricing page before buying.
TubeGen states a typical cost of $1.94–$2.47 per finished minute depending on plan. A finished DreamTuber video costs about 4.33 credits a minute all-in — script, narration, scene visuals and render — so about 44 credits for 10 minutes and 260 for an hour. Plans start at $20/mo for 159 credits (about 36 finished minutes); the $39/mo Plus plan covers about 80 minutes. That's roughly $0.50–$0.56 per finished minute on the entry plans.
TubeGen's subscription also pays for its research tools, thumbnail studio and course, so it isn't a like-for-like price. If you already have a niche and only need the videos, you're paying for parts you won't use.
Bring your existing scripts or topics — paste them into DreamTuber's Autopilot and pick the same length and tone. Choose an art style close to your current look and keep it locked so new uploads match the channel. Connect YouTube once, and finished videos publish with metadata. You can keep using any research or thumbnail tool you like alongside it.
DreamTuber isn't the right fit for every TubeGenuser. If your videos are short, avatar-led or hand-edited, one of these may suit you better. Prices and limits are from each tool's own pricing page, checked October 2026.
